Abstract

The period cup sterilizer with vocal assistance, named Hebe, helps young girls manage menstrual health and navigate puberty. It features a compact sterilizer for period cups, an AI assistant with usage instructions and health tips, and smart period cups with biosensors for real-time health monitoring. Accompanied by a mobile app for menstrual tracking and personalized insights, Hebe empowers young girls with the tools and knowledge for effective and confident period management.

Brief

For the course Multimodal User Experience Design in Products in the Master of Arts in Interaction Design program, our project needed to address two primary questions :

  1. How can we help individuals understand data and information about their bodies using intelligent voice agents?
  2. Can voice assistants enhance literacy regarding intimate well-being and health at home?
